BizarroLand accepts submissions exclusively through FilmFreeway, and we’re a Gold festival if you’re into that kind of thing. We accept short (under 40 minutes) and feature (40 minutes or more) films.

BizarroLand offers a 25% submission discount to any film directed by any filmmaker from a historically excluded community, including but not limited to filmmakers who identify as women, Black, Asian, Latino/Latina, Indigenous, trans, gay, lesbian, bisexual, or filmmakers. Email stephen@demonskull.org to request the discount code.

Probably not. You can ask, but you’ll have to explain why you feel so certain that your movie is a good fit for BizarroLand. And you’ll have to explain it with your own words; you can’t just tell me to watch it myself. And if you use ChatGPT to write your request, you’ll never hear back from me.

The only discount available is the Representation Discount (see the details above).

BizarroLand has no premiere requirements at all. Even movies that are already streaming to the public are eligible for selection. The only thing is, when it’s time to make the final programming decisions, movies that have been seen by fewer audiences will naturally be more attractive.
